Shortly after the third Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test in Brisbane resulted in a draw on the Gabba on Wednesday, Ashwin introduced within the post-match press convention his choice to retire from worldwide cricket with rapid impact, ending a 14-year-long profession of him taking part in for India throughout all codecs.
