India Dismisses False Claims of Oil Leak in Tejas Fighter Jet at Dubai Airshow 2025: What You Need to Know

The Ministry recently clarified some confusion about a video that misrepresented a normal aircraft procedure as an oil leak. The footage actually shows pilots intentionally draining condensed water from the jet’s Environmental Control System (ECS) and On-Board Oxygen Generating System (OBOGS). This is a common practice in humid climates like Dubai. The Ministry emphasized that linking it to an oil leak was simply wrong, accompanying their statement with screenshots of misleading posts for context.

Meanwhile, India showcased its military might at the Dubai Airshow, which took place from November 17 to 21. The event highlighted various aerospace and defense technologies. The Indian Air Force made quite an impact with performances from the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and an exhibition of the LCA Tejas jet, a symbol of India’s effort to boost homegrown defense manufacturing.

In addition, 15 Indian startups showcased their cutting-edge technologies.
