Indiana University basketball kicked off the Darian DeVries era with a 98-47 exhibition win against Universidad de Bayamón in Puerto Rico. It was an impressive start, showcasing a deep roster and solid teamwork.

The Hoosiers came out hot in the third quarter, with Bailey continuing to make an impact. A highlight was Sisley’s putback dunk, pushing the score to 61-23 and forcing Bayamón to take a timeout. By the end of the third, IU led 74-33, with Sisley leading the scoring with 14 points.
The final quarter saw walk-on Ian Stephens score, bringing IU’s lead to 80-36. Sisley capped off his impressive performance with 21 points, as IU finished strong, winning by 51 points.
Five Hoosiers finished in double digits: Sisley with 21 points, Harris with 13, Wilkerson with 12, and both Bailey and Alexis with 10. Their strong showing highlighted the depth of the team, suggesting a promising season ahead.
