TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State is set to play its last road game of the season on Saturday night. They’ll face off against Evansville at 6 p.m. The game will be available on ESPN+, and fans can catch the radio broadcast on WVIG-FM/105.5 The Legend.

In their recent match against Drake, Indiana State displayed some strong performances, with three starters scoring over 20 points. Despite this effort, they lost 107-86. The Sycamores excelled from beyond the arc against Drake, nailing 11 three-pointers at a rate of 52.4%. This strong showing ranks among their best this season. The trio of Secrist, Finnegan, and Queen Ruffin combined for all the threes, shooting 64.7% collectively.
Scoring Stars
Additionally, Wednesday’s game was notable as it marked the first time in over six years that three Indiana State players each scored 20 or more points in a single game. The last time this feat was achieved was in November 2018.
Savannah White also stood out by recording a 20-point, 10-rebound performance against Drake, following Deja Jones’ similar achievement earlier this season.

This final stretch of the season has Indiana State traveling nearly 1,500 miles over ten days, including visits to UIC and Valparaiso. They have been accustomed to long road trips, previously completing seven consecutive games away from home earlier in the season.

Evansville enters Saturday’s game with a record of 6-22, struggling in conference play at 2-15. They have lost their last four games, including a recent 71-54 loss to Northern Iowa.
