India’s Stance Against Terrorism: A Diplomatic Mission to Germany

A group of Indian lawmakers, led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, recently arrived in Germany. Their main aim? To reinforce India’s firm stand against terrorism. Upon landing, they were welcomed by Ajit Gupte, India’s Ambassador to Germany.

This delegation is part of a broader effort. India has dispatched seven multi-party teams to over 30 countries. The goal is clear: to highlight Pakistan’s connections to terrorism, especially in the wake of increased tensions between India and Pakistan. Following a terror attack in Pahalgam, India responded with targeted strikes on terrorist infrastructure, intensifying the situation.

Recent statistics reveal that terrorism remains a pressing concern globally, with over 26,000 incidents reported in 2022 alone.
