Gaten humorously described their living space as “disgusting” after just a few months. “It felt like a college experience,” he told Jesse Tyler Ferguson on the podcast Dinner’s on Me. Despite the clutter, their friendship flourished. “Living with one of your best friends can be tricky, but it was great for us,” Gaten reflected. “Sometimes you need to be mature and say, ‘Hey, this isn’t working out,’ but for us, it ended up being wonderful.”
