Instamart Teams Up with Bharat Organics to Deliver Affordable, High-Quality Organic Products for Every Indian Home

Chennai: Instamart, one of India’s leading quick commerce platforms, has partnered with Bharat Organics, a cooperative focused on organic farming. This collaboration aims to make high-quality organic food accessible and affordable to consumers. Their goal is to connect traditional farmers with modern shoppers, using technology to enhance the shopping experience.

This effort aligns with the Government of India’s vision under the White Revolution 2.0, which seeks to strengthen agricultural cooperatives. By bridging the gap between farmers and consumers, this partnership supports a healthier and more sustainable India.

Instamart now offers 21 organic products from Bharat Organics, including pulses, spices, and cereals. These items are grown by certified organic farmers and come with a QR code for real-time test reports, ensuring quality and transparency.

Bharat Organics has set competitive prices to make organic food more affordable. For example, their tur dal starts at ₹240 per kg, well below the market average of ₹290 to ₹300. This allows consumers to choose healthier options without breaking the bank.

Amitesh Jha, CEO of Instamart, mentioned the importance of this partnership: “We are committed to delivering value and quality. By linking with Bharat Organics, we promote healthier living and support local communities through technology.”

This collaboration responds to the growing demand for certified organic products among urban households. As more people seek trustworthy grocery options, Bharat Organics offers a compelling mix of affordability, purity, and convenience.

Shri Ashish Kumar Bhutani from the Ministry of Cooperation emphasized the initiative’s focus on fair practices for farmers. “With Bharat Organics, we ensure the benefits go directly to those who grow the food,” he said, noting the partnership bridges agriculture and the digital marketplace.

Shri Vipul Mittal of NCOL highlighted the significance of reaching a new generation of conscious consumers. “This partnership not only delivers food but also builds trust and transparency in grocery shopping,” he stated.

A key part of Bharat Organics’ approach is its farmer-first model, where 50% of profits are shared with member farmers. This ensures fair compensation and supports sustainable farming practices. The partnership with Instamart adds a digital layer to Bharat Organics’ established retail presence, already available in over 10,000 stores across Delhi-NCR.

As Instamart expands its offerings, this initiative marks a significant step towards integrating India’s digital economy with its agricultural roots. It empowers both consumers and farmers, fostering healthier food choices and resilient communities.
