Rafah Border Crossing Update: Ongoing Tensions
The Rafah border crossing between Gaza and Egypt will stay closed for now. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that it won’t reopen until Hamas hands over deceased hostages. Meanwhile, the Palestinian embassy in Egypt claimed it would open on Monday for entries into Gaza.
The situation remains tense. Netanyahu’s government and Hamas are trading accusations about ceasefire violations. Hostage Situation
