Jack Black’s Officer Dick Makes a Comeback in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 – Meet His Hilarious English Cousin!

Jack Black is making a return as Officer Dick in the new release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. He’ll also play Constable Richard—the character’s British counterpart.

Officer Dick first appeared in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater back in 1999. Since then, he has become a fan favorite, showing up in later games and even the 2020 remake of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, where Black lent his voice.

In the upcoming release, Dick will be a playable skater. His character is described as someone who was teased by others, leading him to become a law enforcer to gain respect. “Richard Ennvee was mocked by other skaters and called a ‘poser’. Overtaken by the need for revenge, Dick vowed to one day become what those skaters feared most – the long arm of the law,” his bio states.

Game director Kurt Tillmanns shared, “We really loved Jack Black’s inclusion in the previous game. Officer Dick was a school security guard yelling at the skaters, and we thought he was a fun addition. We’re grateful Jack returned to further explore Officer Dick’s story.”

You can catch a trailer showcasing both characters in action. Yes, that’s Black sporting an English accent as Constable Richard!

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is set to drop on July 11, 2025, for multiple platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It will also be available on Game Pass Ultimate.

As we look forward to this release, it’s interesting to note that the Tony Hawk series has been a staple in gaming since the late ’90s. Its legacy continues to influence many action sports games today. Players are excited to see how the game evolves while keeping its core elements intact, making both old fans and new players eager to jump back on their boards.
