The NFL has revealed its award finalists, and the Detroit Lions are shining bright this year. One of the highlights is Lions quarterback Jared Goff, who is among the five finalists for the Most Valuable Player award.

Goff had an impressive season, throwing for 4,629 yards, just behind Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow with 4,918 yards. Other finalists include Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, and Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

In addition to his yardage, Goff finished fourth in the league with 37 touchdown passes. Only Burrow (43), Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (41), and Jackson (41) had more touchdowns. Goff played a key role in leading the Lions to a remarkable 15-2 record and a top seed in the NFC.

Throughout the season, Goff showcased his skills, recording six games with over 300 passing yards and two games exceeding 400 yards. His standout performance came in Week 15 against the Buffalo Bills, where he threw for 494 yards and five touchdowns. Additionally, he had 12 games with multiple touchdown passes, including seven games where he tossed at least three.
