JIXI Design Studio recently won the Best Luxury Contemporary Apartment Interior Design award from Luxury Lifestyle Awards for their impressive work on the Bunny Roundness project in Taichung City, Taiwan.
Founded in 2012 by Chief Designer Yu Cheng Wang, JIXI Design Studio is all about creating personalized spaces that feel human-centered. Their design philosophy focuses on making thoughtful places where people can connect and enjoy daily life. Bunny Roundness reflects this vision, tailored for a family with a young child. It’s a safe and adaptable environment, ensuring comfort across different stages of life.
The apartment incorporates soft curves in its walls and furniture. These rounded shapes promote playful movement and lower safety risks. A standout feature is a large Miffy lamp that stands nearly two meters tall, adding both character and whimsy to the space. The layout is flexible, avoiding set pathways, which allows for creative use of the area, and smart storage solutions keep clutter at bay.
Environmental sustainability was a central focus, too. The designers chose low-emission, non-toxic materials and maximized natural light, reducing reliance on artificial lighting. This results in a welcoming space that is both user-friendly and eco-conscious.
“We celebrate JIXI Design Studio for their innovative take on residential interiors,” said Alexander Chetchikov, President of the World Luxury Chamber of Commerce. “The Bunny Roundness project showcases how design can enhance both utility and happiness.”
This award underscores JIXI’s skill in crafting spaces that not only meet practical needs but also resonate with how people live day-to-day. A recent survey indicated that over 70% of homeowners prioritize livability and comfort in their living spaces—trends that JIXI aligns perfectly with.
