Join Council President Kate Stewart and Rep. Jamie Raskin for a Virtual Meeting on Vital Mental Health Resources – March 6th!

Montgomery County Council President Kate Stewart is hosting a virtual meeting about mental health resources on March 6 at 7:30 PM. This meeting will feature U.S. Rep. Jamie Raskin and local health experts. It’s part of the United in Service and Support series, aimed at helping residents learn about available support services. The event will be streamed online with Spanish interpretation.

This upcoming meeting is the second in a series designed to provide valuable information during uncertain times. Local leaders are coming together to connect with residents and share resources on various topics like employment, health, and housing assistance.

Experts from the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, along with organizations like MoCo Pride and EveryMind, will discuss mental health resources and share tips on looking after your mental well-being.

Residents can join the Zoom meeting starting at 7:20 PM. A Q&A feature will be available, ensuring privacy for participants. If you have questions, you can also submit them ahead of time through a dedicated link.

Spanish interpretation will be offered during the session. The meeting will also be broadcast on County Cable Montgomery and accessible via the Council’s YouTube and Facebook pages.
