Summer is in full swing in Milwaukee, but fall is just around the corner. One of the main attractions coming up is the annual Kohler Food & Wine festival, happening from October 16-19.
This four-day event will kick off on Thursday, setting the stage for a weekend filled with beautiful autumn weather, chef-led cooking demos, delicious tastings, and lively evening gatherings.
This year, the festival will feature some big names in the culinary world. Notable participants include lifestyle icon Martha Stewart and two-time James Beard Award winner Scott Conant. Joining them are first-time guests like chef and entrepreneur Robert Irvine and award-winning chef Claudette Zepeda, along with “Top Chef” alum Eric Adjepong and chef Tiffany Derry.
Wisconsin favorites like Dan Jacobs and Dane Baldwin will also be there, alongside chefs Itaru Nagano, Andrew Kroeger, and Ryan Sherman. After their successful participation last year, the Bartolotta Restaurants are back for their fifth year. They plan to host signature events throughout the festival, with chefs Matt Baier, Connor McNeil, Brent Davis, and Amanda Langler leading presentations.
As excitement builds, it’s interesting to note that food festivals have become increasingly popular across the U.S. A recent survey by Food Festival Finder shows that over 60% of Americans attend at least one food festival a year. Kohler Food & Wine continues to stand out by offering a more personalized experience, as noted by Jenna Check, Associate Director of Special Events at Kohler. She emphasizes that the festival is all about exceeding guest expectations with curated programming and an intimate atmosphere.
