Rescigno is known for her culinary skills honed at Delaware Avenue Oyster House & Bar in Beach Haven, New Jersey. For this match, Rescigno had to use top sirloin steak, mustard greens, and cheese curds, among other items. She crafted a coffee-crusted top sirloin accompanied by braised and fried mustard greens, coffee-infused poutine gravy, and whipped potatoes.
Rescigno’s cooking is rooted in classical French techniques, which she showcased with her perfectly seared steak and rich sauces. Judge Alex Guarnaschelli praised her dish, while other judges noted the harmonious flavors.
In the competitive cooking world, chefs are always looking for ways to stand out.
