It uses artificial intelligence to enhance Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnostics, creating personalized health reports.

At Bloomage Biotech, Jay found a unique skincare product made entirely from fermented rice liquid—no added water. The staff described their synthetic biology platform, which helps turn research ideas into real products. This innovation shows how China’s biomanufacturing is transforming the beauty industry.

At the L’Oréal booth, Jay was impressed by how the beauty market in China is booming. With a brand portfolio that caters to 100 million consumers, L’Oréal showcased how a strong supply chain drives research and innovation. Notably, they presented a hair dryer made in collaboration with a local startup, featuring infrared technology for faster drying and more shine.

In the wellness zone, Jay experienced traditional remedies reimagined for a younger audience. At T.C. Pharmaceutical Group’s area, he received a co-branded energy drink delivered by a robot during a fitness test. This partnership celebrated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Thailand, representing a new chapter in cross-border collaboration.

Smart home technology was another highlight. Jay checked out advanced kitchen gadgets like heat-insulating windows and facial-recognition door locks. At Cheers’ exhibit, he saw a power-lift sofa that helps the elderly stand with ease. The company has distributed its products to over 100 countries, underlining the global nature of these innovations.
