Join Lifestyle TV Stars Maggie Barnes and Brett Stolnick as They Unveil Garden Slate Productions

Maggie Barnes and Brett Stolnick, both familiar faces in lifestyle television, have launched a new company called Garden Slate Productions. This exciting venture will be home to popular shows like Food Network’s “The Kitchen” and HGTV’s “The High Low Project.”

Before this, Barnes and Stolnick worked together at BSTV Entertainment, a company they acquired from producer Beth Burke. At BSTV, they produced hit shows like “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen” and “Big Restaurant Bet.” They also created branded content for major clients, including Walt Disney World Resorts and Target.

In their new roles, Barnes is the co-owner and executive producer, while Stolnick takes on co-owner and head of production tasks. They are joined by Christine Stirrat, a seasoned TV veteran, as the vice president of development. Stirrat has a rich background, having worked with notable networks such as Food Network, HGTV, and TLC.

“We are excited to launch Garden Slate Productions, especially with ‘The Kitchen’ recently renewed for its 39th season,” said Barnes and Stolnick. They emphasized their commitment to create innovative and entertaining unscripted programming that resonates with audiences.

Prior to BSTV, Barnes produced ABC’s “The Chew” and “The Rachael Ray Show.” Stolnick has a diverse background in production management, contributing to shows like “The Colbert Report” and “Pawn Stars.”

Garden Slate Productions is represented by Innovative Artists, positioning them to grow and bring more engaging content to the screen.
