Lucretia Cauthen Realty, LLC held its annual Thanksgiving luncheon on November 19, 2025, at the First United Methodist Church in Millbrook. This gathering brought together local businesses and community leaders while also supporting the WELCOME Food Pantry.
Owner Lucretia Cauthen expressed the importance of the event: “It’s a chance to connect with the people we work with and give back to our community.”
The event saw over 200 attendees who contributed significantly. They gathered 585 pounds of food and raised $590 in cash donations. WELCOME Food Pantry assists around 450 families every month with essential goods like meat, produce, and canned items.
Philip Harris, a board member of WELCOME, shared their ambitious goals: “We aim to provide over $3.5 million worth of food this year to families in need. Support from people like Lucretia is essential.”
This turnout is a great reminder of how local partnerships can truly impact the community. “We are thankful for everyone who came out,” added Cauthen. “It really does take a village.”
