We’re back in Indianapolis for the Scouting Combine. It feels like a familiar loop. Every year, at the same time and place, we gather in the same hotel, broadcast from the same set, and enjoy the same spots to eat. There’s something comforting about this routine, even if it feels like we just did this yesterday.
This year, PFT Live continues from Indy at 7:00 a.m. ET on NBCSN, Peacock, and SiriusXM 85. But there’s a twist: a blizzard in New York has delayed travel for Simms. So, for Tuesday’s show, I’ll be joined by Charean Williams and Myles Simmons to chat about everything NFL-related.
After the show, we’ll be talking to coaches and General Managers. They’ll stop by before or after their press conferences. On Wednesday, Simms will join me for more live shows, featuring some of the prospects in town for the Combine. There are interviews lined up with coaches and GMs throughout the week.
On Thursday and Friday, we’ll meet more prospects, including Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza, who many see as the top pick in the draft. It’s a busy week filled with opportunities to catch up with familiar faces and meet new talent entering the NFL.
These interviews will be available on YouTube, and you can find them attached to our updates here at PFT. The offseason is officially in full swing, and like every year, there’s plenty to cover and discuss.
Interestingly, according to a recent survey by the NFL, 70% of fans believe that scouting and player evaluation are critical to their favorite teams’ success. This highlights the importance of events like the Scouting Combine, where teams gather intel on potential recruits. With so much at stake, every interview and drill matters.
As we dive into the action, it’s clear that this week will shape the league for years to come. Join us as we explore what’s in store for the 2026 NFL season!
