Disney Adventure has officially arrived in Singapore! On March 4, Robert Downey Jr. celebrated the ship’s christening as its godparent. The event took place in the Walt Disney Theatre, where Downey made a memorable entrance amidst dramatic smoke and music from The Avengers.
He humorously pointed out the ship’s size, urging guests to check out the amusement park on deck. “It’s bananas!” he joked. He even recommended the Ironcycle coaster, inspired by Iron Man, saying he had a good feeling about it.
“It’s an honor to be part of this,” Downey stated as he officially named the ship, wishing blessings upon it and its future passengers.
The ceremony was held at the Marina Bay Cruise Centre, marking a significant moment for Disney. Josh D’Amaro, chairman of Disney Experiences, shared that this is the first vessel to homeport in Asia, aiming to introduce Disney to new audiences.
Disney Adventure will set sail on its first trip on March 10. This cruise promises a unique experience, combining entertainment and adventure in one journey.
