The Kitchen Incubator in Chattanooga is gearing up to celebrate four years of Food Truck Friday on February 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This popular event, held at 5704 Marlin Rd., brings together food lovers and local entrepreneurs alike. It’s proudly sponsored by TVFCU.

Mark Holland, the KIC Director, emphasizes the impact of this event. He says, “The Kitchen Incubator has transformed Chattanooga’s food scene, making food trucks a key part of our local culinary culture.” The anniversary not only celebrates food but also the community’s support since KIC opened its doors in 2021.

Over the years, Food Truck Friday has attracted hundreds of trucks and thousands of attendees, showcasing a rich variety of cuisines. Hal Bowling, Co-CEO of LAUNCH, highlights the event’s importance: “It’s a celebration of our community’s entrepreneurial spirit and culinary talent.”

DeJuan Jordan, also a Co-CEO of LAUNCH, adds that this event has grown from a small initiative into a broader movement. “Food Truck Friday shows what can happen when entrepreneurs have access to support and opportunities,” he notes. This model is now influencing other areas across the Tennessee Valley, proving the demand for vibrant, inclusive economic spaces.

The anniversary celebration will feature an array of local food trucks. There will also be a live radio broadcast with G93, giveaways, school appearances, and seating on KIC’s new heated patio. This event promises to showcase not just food but the spirit of community and innovation in Chattanooga.
