We’re excited to launch the Web of Science Community Forum. This initiative is all about involving our users in the development of Web of Science. By fostering collaboration with library professionals from various institutions, we aim to enhance networking and knowledge sharing.

Community input has driven major innovations at Web of Science, including the recent launch of the Web of Science Research Assistant. We want to implement AI responsibly, which is why we started our Development Partner program. This group of librarians and researchers helps guide our development efforts. Now, we’re expanding this collaboration through the Community Forum, allowing even more users to shape Web of Science’s future.

What Can You Expect from the Community Forum?

The Community Forum is your space to influence our product roadmap, connect with experts, learn from peers, and work together on shared goals. Most activities will occur through online meetings and forums, with opportunities for future in-person events.

As a member, you’ll enjoy:

  • Regular product updates: Get the latest product news and share feedback in scheduled meetings with the Web of Science team.
  • Impacting product development: Vote on potential enhancements based on your institution’s needs and priorities.
  • Knowledge exchange: Share experiences and strategies with peers to enhance your use of Web of Science.
  • Networking: Connect with fellow information professionals and collaborate with Clarivate experts on various initiatives.

The Community Forum is open to librarians at all institutions that subscribe to Web of Science. It’s your chance to help us improve and innovate in the research field.

Introducing the Web of Science Product Working Group

We’re also excited to introduce the Web of Science Product Working Group, which builds on the achievements of our Development Partner program. This group collaborates closely with the Web of Science team, providing in-depth feedback and guidance.

Members from diverse institutions bring a wide range of perspectives to the table. Their insights are crucial in steering the future direction of Web of Science.

Both the Community Forum and the Product Working Group work hand-in-hand. The forum encourages broad participation and gathering of insights, while the Product Working Group focuses on detailed guidance. This partnership enhances collaboration and benefits everyone in the Web of Science community.
