Founded by Lee Brian Schrager, SOBEWFF® has hosted famous chefs and celebrities over 23 years. Notable figures like Alain Ducasse, Snoop Dogg, and Bobby Flay have participated, raising over $50 million for various charities. Schrager noticed how content creators gained immense influence, leading to the launch of FoodieCon® as a way to connect this new wave of culinary stars with their fans.

Attendees will dive into engaging panels covering topics like “The Creator Economy” and “Couples Who Content.” Highlights include the “FoodieCon® Olympics,” where creators tackle fun culinary challenges.
Lee Brian Schrager describes FoodieCon® as a merging of food culture and technology. It inspires participants and deepens their relationship with food in today’s digital age.
Since its start in February 2023, FoodieCon® has become increasingly popular, gaining an impressive 12 billion impressions and doubling attendance each year. The event features famous influencers like Neil Patrick Harris, adding to its success. The 2025 event boasts a collective social media reach of nearly 120 million followers.
FoodieCon® is a key part of SOBEWFF® and has sold out in previous years. It proves the growing importance of digital content in the culinary world and the strong desire for real-life connections.
Tickets for FoodieCon® are priced at $100, with all proceeds going to the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University. This supports education and industry growth while giving students hands-on experience with renowned chefs.
