WILLIAMSPORT — In October, car dealerships in north central Pennsylvania teamed up with the Susquehanna Health Foundation for the Drive For A Cause campaign, celebrating Breast Health Awareness Month.
During this event, participating dealerships donated $25 for each vehicle sold to support the Kathryn Candor Lundy Breast Health Center at UPMC Magee-Womens in Williamsport. Their efforts raised an impressive $8,775 to enhance breast cancer prevention, detection, and treatment services in the area.
The dealerships involved included Bill MacIntyre Chevrolet, Fairfield Auto Group, Murray Motors, and VanCampen Motors. Special thanks also go to Cotter’s Auto Sales and M&M Paving & Excavating for their sponsorship. Media partners like iHeartMedia and Lamar Advertising helped spread the word about this important initiative, showing that community support can make a difference in public health.
