Dr. Darren Barry, Community Climate Action Officer at Limerick City and County Council, notes that Climate Action Week is a reminder that positive change is not only possible, but it’s also happening right now in Limerick. He encourages everyone, from eco-enthusiasts to newcomers, to join this movement for a greener and fairer future.
A recent survey shows that 62% of people in Ireland are willing to make lifestyle changes to tackle climate change. This growing awareness reflects a world increasingly committed to sustainability.
