The Embassy of India in Kyrgyzstan is inviting everyone in Bishkek to join the Viksit Bharat Run on September 28 at Yntymak Park. This event is part of the global Seva Pakhwada initiative, a two-week community service campaign running from September 17 to October 2 in 125 capital cities around the world. This initiative celebrates the birthdays of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mahatma Gandhi.
Participants can start gathering at 9:30 a.m. at Yntymak Park’s entrance. They’ll register and receive souvenir caps. At 9:45 a.m., Shiv Mohan Singh, Chargé d’Affaires of India in Kyrgyzstan, will give a welcoming speech. The race, which is 3 kilometers long, kicks off at 10 a.m. with Vice Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva in attendance.
After the run, everyone can enjoy some refreshments around 11 a.m., along with a thank-you speech from the embassy’s Second Secretary for Cultural Affairs.
