Join the Excitement: Tata Power, Indian Air Force, and Tata Motors Unite for the Shaurya Bharat EV Rally 2025 – Asia Pacific’s Premier Electric Vehicle Event!

Tata Power has taken a pivotal role in the Shaurya Bharat EV Rally 2025, a remarkable event that highlights India’s commitment to both its armed forces and environmental sustainability. This rally, organized with the Indian Air Force, Tata Motors, and PHDCCI, stretches from New Delhi to Adampur, Punjab.

The Shaurya Bharat EV Drive honors the bravery of India’s defense personnel while promoting green transportation. More than just a tribute, it’s a chance to encourage electric vehicle (EV) usage and clean energy, especially as it traverses a significant route through Murthal, Ambala, and Jalandhar.

Featuring over 30 Tata Harrier EVs, the rally was supported by Tata Power’s robust EZ CHARGE network. As the exclusive charging partner, Tata Power set up charging stations along the path, ensuring the journey of over 600 kilometers went off without a hitch. This test of EV infrastructure showcased how well India can manage long-distance electric travel under real-world conditions.

Tata Power’s role was crucial. The well-placed charging stations served as the backbone for this event, proving that reliable infrastructure is vital for EV adoption. This rally wasn’t just an event; it was a demonstration of what’s possible for India’s electric mobility future.

Currently, Tata Power boasts more than 5,400 public and private EV charging points and over 1.35 lakh home chargers. It also manages more than 1,200 bus charging points across 600 cities. This extensive network not only supports individual users but also institutions and fleets, making long-distance electric travel feasible.

Informing its mission, Tata Power has facilitated over 23.6 crore green kilometers globally. This has prevented more than 1 lakh tonnes of CO₂ emissions, thereby substantially contributing to India’s sustainability goals. Looking ahead, the company aims to expand even further, targeting 7.5 lakh home chargers and 10,000 public charging points by 2030.

The Shaurya Bharat EV Rally showcases the blend of India’s clean energy aspirations and its deep respect for the armed forces. With its dedicated infrastructure, Tata Power demonstrates that a commitment to sustainability can go hand in hand with honoring those who serve the nation. This rally symbolizes a path where purpose meets progress, paving the way for a greener future.
