Exciting news from Toronto! GDA Capital and Alpaca Network, along with Founders Hub Network and Devolved AI, are launching a major competition for aspiring AI entrepreneurs called the Next Top AI Agent. This event is set to kick off on March 3, 2025, and will run through the end of the month.
What makes this competition special? It’s the largest of its kind, inviting over 4 million developers and tech leaders from around the globe. Participants will have a month to develop and showcase their innovative AI agents, all while competing for a prize pool of more than $500,000 in grants and rewards.
Throughout March, teams will receive guidance and incentives to help them refine their projects. There will also be expert-led webinars that offer valuable insights into the worlds of AI and blockchain.
Joaquim Miro from Alpaca Network shared the goal of the event: “Our mission is to inspire and support the next wave of AI entrepreneurs. By providing funding and mentorship, we want to tap into the potential of innovators worldwide.”
In collaboration with the Blockchain Education Network, the competition will connect students and faculty from various universities to help guide emerging builders. He hopes to inspire young minds to tackle real-world problems through this competition. “We aim to create opportunities that we wished existed when we were in school,” he explained.

- Devolved AI: Strives to decentralize large language models.
- Token Events: Develops AI agents for event marketing and analytics.
- GPT360: Concentrates on AI marketing agents.
