A few weeks ago, we accidentally previewed the collaboration between Magic: The Gathering and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles during the Lorwyn Eclipsed Prerelease events. We acknowledged the mix-up and promised to update you, so here we are!
First off, we’ve reached out to the stores affected by this issue. We offered replacements for any products they had to swap out. This is just our standard way of caring for our community.
Now, let’s get to the exciting part. If you attend a Prerelease event for Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles starting February 27 at select locations, you’ll receive a Promo Pack while supplies last. This pack will include cards from one of the following sets: Lorwyn Eclipsed, Edge of Eternities, Tarkir: Dragonstorm, Duskmourn: House of Horror, or Bloomburrow.
Each Promo Pack generally contains:
- A promo-stamped rare or mythic rare from the featured set.
- Another promo-stamped rare or mythic rare from current Standard-legal sets.
- A basic land.
- An alternate promo card from the featured set.
For example, the Edge of Eternities Promo Packs had fun cards like Starfield Shepherd and Annul. Similarly, Lorwyn Eclipsed featured cards like Personify and Silvergill Mentor.
Some packs might even include a code card for Magic: The Gathering Arena, adding more value to your experience!
These Promo Packs are on their way to participating locations. The stores are just finding out about this process, so give them a few days before you check in.
As the Prerelease date approaches, excitement in the community is already building. Social media trends show plenty of anticipation, with fans eager to see what rare cards will be in the new set. Enthusiasts are sharing their thoughts and expectations, making it an exciting time for both fans and local game stores.
Overall, we appreciate your support for Magic: The Gathering and your local shops. Your enthusiasm truly enhances our community! For more information on the set, you can explore the Magic: The Gathering | Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Card Image Gallery here.
