Join the FEED LOVE Movement: Support North Valley Food Bank’s 6th Annual Food Drive!

North Valley Food Bank is launching its sixth annual FEED LOVE food drive this February, encouraging the community to come together and support those in need.

This year, the food drive lasts the entire month to address the growing demand for food assistance. In just 2025, the Food Bank welcomed 962 new families. Pantry visits reached over 27,000, marking a 26% increase from the previous year—its highest on record.

The rise in food insecurity across Northwest Montana is worrying. Factors such as unstable federal benefits, soaring housing costs, and inflation are pushing more families, including working parents and seniors, to seek help for the first time.

To combat this situation, the Food Bank is collecting non-perishable comfort foods, including soups, stews, pasta, nut butters, and baking supplies. They’re also asking for diapers and hygiene products, like soaps and pads, to support families in need.

Food donations can be dropped off at various locations, including Safeway and North Valley Food Bank, during normal business hours. There’s also a 24/7 donation drop box for added convenience.

This year, the Food Bank is partnering with local restaurants and cafés, enhancing community support. By purchasing special menu items at places like Jersey Boys and Bulldog Saloon, a portion of your money will directly support the Food Bank.

The challenge of food insecurity is increasing, but community strength shines through mutual care and support. The FEED LOVE food drive offers a chance for everyone to make a difference and help fellow neighbors. Together, we can spread love and nourishment this February.
