St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky (SVdP NKY) is launching its annual “Food Fight Against Hunger,” and they want local organizations to join in on the fun! This friendly competition runs from March 24 to April 7.
During this period, businesses, schools, and community groups will compete to collect non-perishable food, hygiene products, and essential household items. All donations will support SVdP NKY’s food pantries.
At the end of the drive, teams will take their collections to designated drop-off points, where the items will be weighed. The group that donates the most weight in food and goods will win bragging rights!
This year is especially important. In 2024, SVdP NKY helped over 39,000 people and provided more than $1.1 million in food assistance. However, there has been a 40% increase in demand this year as more families face economic challenges, job losses, and other hardships.
If your organization wants to be part of the “Food Fight Against Hunger,” just send an email to svdpPrograms@svdpnky.org by March 10. They will share all the details you need once you register.
