Recent reports indicate that law changes could push around 860,000 New Yorkers off their health insurance. This will put 3.5 million residents at risk of food insecurity, according to ESV’s analysis.

Tarrytown Trustee Kenny Herzog emphasized the responsibility of Congress to act swiftly. He expressed frustration about the rising cost of living and stagnant wages affecting local families. “We can’t let our community live with uncertainty about where their next meal will come from,” he said.
