The festival will run from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, at the farm located at 441 Saxony Road. Expect an afternoon full of fun activities! There will be crafts, live music, yoga sessions, and delicious local food and drinks. Plus, everyone can roll up their sleeves and get their hands in the soil, planting trees and caring for the land.

Tu B’Shvat, often called the New Year for Trees, celebrates the important role trees play in our lives. During the festival, attendees will get to plant 20 to 40 fruit trees, bringing life and beauty to the farm.

Sharone Oren, the education manager at the farm, shared, “Coastal Roots Farm is here to nourish the body, mind, and soul. We strive to support those in need, foster a vibrant Jewish community, and create welcoming spaces for everyone.”

While the pay-what-you-can farm stand will be closed during this time, there will be a pop-up farm stand in the Food Forest offering fresh, organic produce to all festival-goers.

Admission is based on a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for kids, but everyone is welcome—no one will be turned away due to financial reasons. Your contributions will support the farm’s ongoing efforts to nourish the community.
