Join the Fun at the College of Staten Island’s Rock ‘N Oldies Dance Party – Dance for a Good Cause!

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — There’s something special about the classic songs that bring back memories of the past.

If you love oldies music, mark your calendar for a fun Rock ‘N Oldies Dance Party on Saturday, March 22, at 7 p.m. The event will take place at the Center for the Arts: The Springer Concert Hall at the College of Staten Island. Get ready to groove to doo-wop hits from the American Songbook!

Al Simone from A.D.P. Entertainment shared that a portion of the proceeds will go to the American Legion of Richmond County, supporting a great cause.

Meet the Performers

The Brooklyn Bridge started in March 1968 and gained fame with hits like “The Worst That Could Happen” and “16 Candles.” They’ve graced major venues like Madison Square Garden and Carnegie Hall.

Vito Picone & The Elegants, formed in 1956, are still a beloved act. Their hit “Little Star” sold over 2.5 million copies, showcasing their lasting appeal in the music scene.

Vinnie Medugno is not just a performer; he’s also a teacher and radio host on 77 WABC. He brings experience from opening for big names like Bobby Rydell.

The Chiclettes and The Coda Band will energize the audience with a tribute to impactful female artists in pop music history, celebrating their contributions.

John Scupelliti, who formed The Reactions in 1962, continues to lead the group. They are known for songs like “Our Wonderful Love,” with Scupelliti’s voice at the forefront.

Bobby Wilson, known as “Mr. Entertainment,” is the son of rhythm and blues legend Jackie Wilson. He carries on his father’s musical legacy with talent that echoes his father’s charisma.
