The Baxter Health Foundation is thrilled to kick off Phase 1 of its Heartbeat of Hope Campaign. The goal? To raise $2 million to enhance heart and vascular care in our community. This campaign will bring significant changes, including a new, advanced catheterization lab (cath lab) and expanded services for patients who need urgent heart care.
The new cath lab will enable more detailed diagnostic and treatment procedures. This means patients can receive critical care without having to travel far for specialized treatment. The funds from this campaign will ensure that more individuals can access timely, life-saving procedures right in their own community. It’s a vital step towards improving the health and well-being of everyone around us.
A generous boost comes from the J.E. & L.E. Mabee Foundation, which has pledged a $500,000 challenge grant. This grant will be available once the Baxter Health Foundation meets its $2 million goal by October 1, 2025. Every contribution matters and helps speed up this important project.
Sarah Edwards, Executive Director of the Baxter Health Foundation, shared her thoughts on the campaign: “The Heartbeat of Hope Campaign presents a unique chance to impact the lives of our community members. We are grateful for the support we’ve seen from our region. When you contribute, you’re not just helping a project; you’re enhancing the well-being of everyone around you. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to unlocking the Mabee Foundation’s challenge grant. We’re excited about the lives this expansion will save in our community.”
