The MLB Trade Rumors Free Agent Prediction Contest is here! You can make your predictions for where the top 50 free agents will land. The deadline to submit your picks is Thursday, November 13th, at 11 PM Central Time.
Here’s how it works: Once the submission period closes, we’ll have a leaderboard to show who’s in the lead, updated as players sign with new teams. Just a heads up: your full name will appear, so if you have privacy concerns, think it over before entering. Inappropriate names will lead to disqualification.
We’re collecting email addresses too, mainly to inform winners. If a player signs before the contest ends, they won’t be included.
When you submit your picks, you’ll get an email confirmation from Google Forms, which also allows you to edit your predictions if needed.
Prizes will be awarded once all 50 free agents sign, with $500 for first place, $300 for second, and $100 for third. Everyone in the top 15 will also receive a one-year membership to Trade Rumors Front Office. Winners must reply to our email within a week to claim their prize.
The contest ends March 25th, 2026. Any players who remain unsigned won’t be part of the competition. In case of ties, we’ll look at the rankings of the correct picks to break them.
Feel free to drop any questions in the comments. Happy predicting!
