Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), the owner of Mumbai Indians (MI), has exciting news! They recently announced a partnership with the Oval Invincibles, a cricket team based in London. The Oval Invincibles are the reigning champions of The Hundred, winning titles in both 2023 and 2024, and they also have a strong women’s team that triumphed in 2021 and 2022.

This partnership strengthens MI’s global presence in cricket. With this deal, MI will extend its reach across four continents and five countries, boasting seven cricket teams altogether. The deal involves acquiring a 49% stake in the Oval Invincibles, pending some usual checks and paperwork.

Mrs. Nita M. Ambani expressed her excitement about this new chapter, stating, “Cricket is more than a game; it’s a passion that connects people.
