Join the Youth Spiritual Summit 2025 in Varanasi: Unveiling the ‘Kashi Declaration’ for a Drug-Free Viksit Bharat on July 20

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports is set to host the Youth Spiritual Summit from July 19 to 20, 2025, at the Rudraksh Convention Centre in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. This event, themed “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat,” aims to bring together over 500 youth delegates and leaders from more than 100 spiritual and socio-cultural organizations across India. Their goal? To unite in a strong stance against drug addiction.

By leveraging the country’s spiritual heritage, the summit seeks to inspire a drug-free society. Taking place in the sacred city of Kashi, it aligns deeply with India’s broader moral and disciplinary aspirations.

Prominent figures attending the summit include Shiv Pratap Shukla (Governor of Himachal Pradesh), Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya (Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports), and other key ministers from both central and state governments. Their presence underscores the importance of collective action in addressing drug-related issues.

The summit will feature four main sessions, interactive whiteboard forums, expert lectures, and workshops. Topics will cover the psychological and societal impacts of drug addiction, disrupting supply chains, raising awareness, and proposing long-lasting solutions that stem from India’s rich cultural values.

One of the highlight moments will be the unveiling of the Kashi Declaration on July 20, 2025. This declaration, shaped by youth-led discussions and expert insights, will outline a roadmap aimed at fostering a Nasha Mukt Bharat and guiding policymakers, civil organizations, and youth groups in their future efforts.

Post-summit, the event will continue under the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) initiative, which will launch a nationwide awareness campaign. Volunteers and youth clubs will actively spread the anti-drug message through pledge drives, outreach, and cultural events in various towns and villages.
