Newtown Township is hosting a delightful luncheon on April 23, featuring lifestyle influencer Pat Nogar and the popular baking trio known as “The Cake Ladies.” This event, which runs from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Luigi and Giovanni’s Café, promises great food and engaging conversation.

Pat Nogar, the president of Living Well with Pat Nogar and a member of the esteemed Les Dames d’Escoffier, recently gave a TEDx Talk titled “The Power of the Table.” She discussed how shared meals can strengthen relationships in families, communities, and business settings.

Joining her are sisters Carole Algier, Sue Katein, and Kathy Lanyon, aka “The Cake Ladies.” The three authors and entrepreneurs will share their journey into the world of baking, starting with their decision to pursue their dreams after the 9/11 attacks. Their story includes a focus on their famous Amaretto Cake, which gained popularity from farmers markets to appearances on popular shows like the Rachael Ray Show.
