Join Us at the United Food Bank’s Exciting Annual Fundraiser in Plant City!

The United Food Bank and Services of Plant City (UFB) aims to help people escape hunger and poverty. Their goal is to empower individuals and families in East Hillsborough County. They offer food and programs to improve skills and life quality, making a difference in the community.

One of the ways UFB raises funds is through their annual event, Food For All. This year’s gala, themed “Saddle Up For A Cause,” took place on February 1st at the Big Red Barn in Plant City. City Manager Bill McDaniel hosted the evening.

Guests donned their best cowboy hats and boots to enjoy a delightful night. They savored delicious food from Johnson’s BBQ, listened to music by Casey Stidham, and were entertained by Aniston Ainsworth’s riding show. Ainsworth is a local talent who once competed in the World Championship of Cowboy Mounted Shooting.

The event featured tasty chocolate-covered strawberries donated by the Florida Strawberry Growers Association and selections of ciders and whiskey from local businesses. Attendees had a chance to win various raffle baskets donated by local individuals and businesses. A highlight of the night was a live drawing for a gift card package worth $1,300.

Thanks to the support of Star Distribution as the presenting sponsor, the gala raised an impressive $90,000 to fight hunger in the community. Events like these play a crucial role in supporting UFB’s mission and helping those in need.
