Join us for a delightful pancake breakfast fundraiser in Michigan City! The LaPorte County Career and Technical Education (CTE) program is hosting this tasty event on Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Elston Cafeteria, located at 317 Detroit St. in the LPCCTE North Campus (A.K. Smith Career Center).
Tickets are just $8 and must be bought by February 21. Your support will help fund the hands-on learning opportunities that the CTE programs provide. These programs are designed to equip students with the skills they need for future careers or further education.
February is CTE Month, a time to acknowledge the importance of vocational education, celebrate student achievements, and recognize the educators who support them. Our breakfast is a fantastic way to show your support for CTE students.
Enjoy a mouthwatering meal featuring pancakes, eggs, sausage, and fruit, along with refreshments like water, coffee, and orange juice. The meal will be prepared by the talented advanced culinary arts students guided by Chef Angela Nipple. This program prepares students for various food industry careers through a mix of classroom learning and hands-on experience.
While dining, feel free to visit A.K. Scissory, our student-run salon offering Salon Saturday services. Guests can enjoy haircuts, facials, manicures, and more. It’s a great chance to pamper yourself, with walk-ins welcome and gift certificates available. For a full list of services, check out @AKScissory on Facebook.
