ROLLA, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is offering a hunter education skills session on February 24 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Rolla Technical Center.
If you want to get your hunter education certification, you need to register in advance online. You can find the registration link here.
“This is the final step to becoming certified,” said Dwight Warnke, an MDC Conservation Educator.
Before attending the session, make sure you complete the knowledge portion of the certification. You can do this online for a fee, or by reviewing the student manual chapter questions. If you choose the manual route, bring the booklet with you to get it reviewed by the instructor for free. You can find the manual online at this link or at any MDC office. This course is for anyone aged 11 and older.
The Rolla Technical Center is located at 500 Forum Drive in Rolla. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Dwight Warnke at Dwight.Warnke@mdc.mo.gov.
