Join Us for the 3rd Annual Lancaster Climate Summit on Nov. 8: Insights and Innovations by RegenAll

The Climate Summit brings people together to tackle climate change. This year’s event is packed with over 12 workshops and discussions. Topics include climate policy, energy efficiency, and the role of technology in our environment.

Attendees can connect with local nonprofits and businesses, getting resources to engage in community climate actions. Eric Sauder, the President of RegenAll, emphasizes that the summit is a chance to celebrate local leaders, form new partnerships, and leave with actionable steps.

The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to everyone.

Exciting Pre-Event Activities

On Friday, November 7th, there are two fun pre-event activities. RegenAll is hosting a Youth Climate Art Contest and an Anti-Apocalypse Dance Party.

The art contest invites students to share their vision of a green future. The aim is to foster creativity and inspire hope for the next generation. Winning pieces will be showcased at the Climate Summit.

The contest will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church.

Later that evening, the Anti-Apocalypse Dance Party will occur at West Art from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. This event, featuring DJ Silk Noir, aims to bring joy and inspiration while promoting collective action.

Why Climate Action Matters

Recent studies show that nearly 70% of people are worried about climate change. Experts argue that local efforts can lead to significant impacts on our environment. For instance, small changes in our daily lives, like reducing plastic use or conserving water, can collectively make a big difference.

RegenAll focuses on practical, community-based solutions. This nonprofit is committed to creating models that promote both environmental sustainability and economic opportunities. Their goal is to help communities thrive both in urban and rural areas.
