The public can view the science projects from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Middle school projects will be displayed on the pickleball court in the Parks Fitness Center, while high school projects will be showcased in the Devall Student Center.

This year’s fair will feature over 80 projects from elementary, junior high, and high schools throughout East Texas. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to share their creativity and hard work with the community and a group of judges.

Finalists from both junior and senior divisions will have the chance to advance to the Texas Science and Engineering Fair, which takes place on March 28-29 in College Station. The overall winner from high school (grades 9-12) will also qualify for the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Columbus, Ohio, scheduled for May 10-16.

For more details, you can check out the official science fair webpage.

It provides a platform for young students to display their research and problem-solving skills. This event not only inspires future scientists but also highlights the importance of STEM education in our community.
