Mark your calendars! The Community Care Clinic of Dare is hosting a Health Fair at the Rodanthe Community Building on Monday, March 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event is free and open to everyone.
Come and take advantage of free health screenings, including blood pressure checks, glucose tests, cholesterol tests, and A1C checks, which show your average blood sugar levels. These services are made possible with support from Outer Banks Health.
Other local nonprofit organizations will also be there, and you won’t need an appointment for the screenings. Just show up!
If you can’t make it to the health fair, there’s good news. The Community Care Clinic of Dare has expanded its Frisco Clinic hours. Now, you can visit the clinic to see a provider on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. New patients are welcome! You can schedule an appointment by calling 252-261-3041. The clinic is at the Dare County Department of Public Health, across from the EMS Station at 50347 N.C. Highway 12.
The Health Fair will be at 23646 N.C. Highway 12 in Rodanthe. For details about the Community Care Clinic, click here or check their Facebook page for updates on upcoming events.
