Fullerton College is set to host an engaging spring health fair on Wednesday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the quad. This event aims to support the campus community by providing various free health services and resources.

Attendees can take advantage of free health checks, including blood pressure and glucose screenings. There will also be fun fitness activities like cardio kickboxing and aerobic body weight conditioning. It’s a great chance to learn more about student support services and health-focused campus clubs.
Multiple local health organizations will have informational booths at the fair. These include:
- Radiant Futures
- Shanti OC
- NAMI OC (National Alliance on Mental Illness Orange County)
- Waymakers
- Laura’s House
- Friends of Family Health Center
- LGBTQ Center of OC
- Planned Parenthood
- Providence St. Jude
- FPA Women’s Health
- Nhan Hoa Health
- Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance
- American Red Cross
- Alzheimer’s Association
- CalOptima Health
- And more!
Moreover, students can look forward to a chance to win exciting prizes, such as a pair of Sony earbuds or a $25 bookstore gift card, simply by visiting the booths.
This annual spring tradition not only promotes health awareness but also fosters community engagement. Health fairs like this provide critical access to information and support, especially in times when many are concerned about wellness. Research shows that access to free health screenings can significantly increase the likelihood of early disease detection.
According to a recent study published in the Journal of Community Health, health fairs lead to increased screening rates for conditions like diabetes and hypertension among participants. These events can bridge gaps in health services, particularly for those in underserved communities.
