Join Us on March 4: Enhancing Graduate Programs with Ethics Education and Assessment Strategies at Penn State University

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A virtual workshop on ethics education in graduate programs is happening on Tuesday, March 4, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Titled “Enhancing Ethics Education and Assessment in Graduate Programs,” this free 90-minute session aims to share useful strategies and real-world examples to improve ethical decision-making.

This workshop is perfect for leaders in graduate programs, including program heads, department chairs, and faculty teaching ethics. Participants will gain practical insights and methods to strengthen ethics education.

The session will be guided by Betty Harper, assistant vice provost for assessment. Other speakers include Katie Bode-Lang, who will discuss challenges in research integrity, and Michael Verderame, who will share successful strategies from a project at the College of Medicine. Ted Toadvine will offer examples of ethics education directly from the classroom.
