Pet Food Donation Drive
Join the City Hook and Ladder Fire Co. No. 14 at 317 Valley St., Lewistown, on Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. They’re hosting a pet food drive! Bring some dog or cat food to help out local animals through Rescue Our Furry Friends.
Indoor Yard Sale
If you’re looking for great deals, stop by the indoor yard sale at Christ’s United Lutheran Church, 13765 Old Turnpike Road, Millmont. It’s happening from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. You’ll find clothing, furniture, and more. Plus, food and quarts of soup will be available. Proceeds support Sunday School and other church programs.
Ice Cream for Breakfast Day
On Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon, the Juniata County Library at 498 Jefferson St., Mifflintown, will celebrate Ice Cream for Breakfast Day. Kids aged 3 to 12 can enjoy an ice cream sundae bar and crafts. Make sure to register!
Spread the Love this Valentine’s Day
Help bring joy to those in nursing homes by making or delivering Valentine’s. Helping Hands of Juniata County welcomes everyone—kids, families, and crafty souls—to join the fun. Drop-off locations include McLaughlin Pharmacy in Mifflintown and Sal’s OIP in McAlisterville. You can make homemade cards or buy some, but remember to put in lots of love!
