Jos Buttler Stands Strong: England’s Resilience Against ‘Lazy’ Rumors Following India’s 3-0 Clean Sweep

Despite Rashid’s best efforts, which included taking down Kohli for 52, India still managed to put together a strong total, surpassing 350 runs. England’s response began with slight hope from Duckett, who opened with an aggressive batting style, hitting eight boundaries. But his injury remains a worry for the team.

The opening pair of Phil Salt and Duckett made a quick partnership but soon fell to India’s knuckleballs and slower deliveries. Newcomer Banton, playing his first international match in three years, showed promise but couldn’t sustain his performance under pressure. A sudden loss of wickets derailed England’s innings, leaving them at 154 for five by the 25th over and ultimately unable to mount a successful chase.
