Reflecting on his health challenges, Homme said he found strength during his difficult times. “I was in a very tough spot, but it also gave me clarity,” he noted. He felt that being unwell allowed him to appreciate the moment more deeply, making their performance even more special.

After months of recovery, he faced the uncertainty of his future. “I was told it could take two years to fully heal,” he recalled. Yet, by December, he learned he was on the mend. “I felt like a rodeo bull ready to burst out,” he said, eager to return to performing.

Now, after a lengthy break, Homme and the band are set to kick off their Catacombs Tour in the fall. They’ll start in Chicago on October 2, following a series of European shows in August.
