KALEO announces A/B deluxe anniversary edition ahead of June 10 release

Icelandic rock band KALEO is preparing to release a deluxe anniversary edition of its breakout album A/B, marking nearly a decade since the record first helped push the group to a global audience.

The A/B Deluxe Anniversary Edition is scheduled for release on June 10 via Rhino Records. The project revisits the band's 2016 album with bonus material, studio rarities and live performances.

JJ Julius Son, lead singer of KALEO, said the album changed the band's life and that the anniversary release includes bonus tracks, rarities and live recordings.

The original A/B album included songs such as All The Pretty Girls, No Good and Way Down We Go. Way Down We Go became one of the band's most recognisable tracks, reaching number one on Billboard's Alternative Rock chart and building a large digital audience worldwide.

According to the announcement, the deluxe 2LP edition will include the vinyl debut of the stripped version of Way Down We Go, the studio track Up In The Sky, and Still No Good, described as a new spin on an earlier KALEO song.

KALEO formed in Mosfellsbaer, near Reykjavik, in 2012. The band includes JJ Julius Son, David Antonsson, Daniel Kristjansson and Rubin Pollock. Since its rise, the group has built a global following with billions of streams, international certifications and performances at major festivals.

The band is also expected to support the anniversary release with its Way Down We Go Tour this summer.
